It depends how life threatening you say your bad luck is? Didn't win the lottery, ah too bad. Car won't start, ah too bad. Can't get a loan at the bank, ah too bad. Had an accident and lost your license, ah too bad. Got hit by a baseball at the game and lost an eye? See what I mean? Just how bad is your bad luck? It is said that God will not give you a burden in life that is too great for you to sustain. If you have some bad luck look around you and see what others are dealing with. You are on a road to salvation, what you endure on that road is what God feels you can deal with and still make it to His heavenly home. Having earned your way there no one will be able to question why you are there. God leads us back to Him and on that road He insures that we truly want to get back to Him. Consider yourself lucky that you have some bad luck, it is the only way we have of knowing that God is yearning for our return.

hahhaah yes. We all do. You bet, every Christian that lives and has ever lived. There is over 8000 scriptures based on this for a reason. :)
The Faith to Hold Out
Hebrews 12:1-3
Sometimes our life seems like a long, dark tunnel. Perhaps we are unable to discover a solution for a problem, or we cannot find relief from pain. Regardless of the direction we turn, we find no hope for anything better than our present circumstances.
Thankfully, we serve a God who feels our pain and knows our limitations first-hand.
Jesus Christ walked through the valley of the shadow of death and cried out, "My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?"(Mark 15:34). This means that when our faith is stretched to the breaking point, our strength is exhausted, and our dreams are broken like shattered glass, Jesus understands. And He asks us to hold out when everything in us screams to give up.
Giving up means abandoning God's help for our own puny strength. We try to manipulate a situation or simply avoid pain. In essence, we're choosing to believe that Satan in his worldly power is stronger than Christ within us - which is the exact opposite of what the Bible says is true. (1 John 4:4) Of course, the Devil is not more powerful, but we let him win a battle if we give up on the assurance that God will see us through difficulty. When we have that attitude, we miss the Father's blessing and limit our usefulness in His kingdom.
Even when we cannot detect His involvement, God is working every moment on our problem. But we must trust His perfect timing for revealing the answer. Your Father knows your hurt, and He will bring you through that dark tunnel. Do not give up before reaching His blessing.

Luck does not enter the equation. It is written in Scripture that you will have trials and troubles in this world, no getting around it. When the trials come, that is when you cling to Jesus more. He never said He remove you from the trials, but He will be there with you. Trials and troubles refine us, make us purer, like gold. When you come out of a trial, and have not wavered in your faith, you will have matured more, grown more, and been refined, and will be closer to the person God wants you to be. Remember, when you are on the mountaintop, watch out because a valley is coming. When you are in the valley, look up, your mountaintop is right around the corner. Hang in there, sister, you will make it.

It is all about your faith. if you have a strong faith in god and Jesus Christ you can endure anything.
I had a son that was 2 months old when he fell asleep and didn't wake up. My loving wife and I went through our own living hell. But we prayed and prayed and prayed and things got better. Did we get over it, Never. We deal with.
Sometimes a lot of things happen to a person and it seams like there is no end in sight, but if you continue to pray and have faith you will endure. Get help from family, friends or a priest or father of your church, what ever it takes to get you through it.

It's not luck. It's just that sometimes things happen. Try to learn something when things happen that are not good, so you can keep them from happening again. Just pick yourself up and keep going, soon everything will be a lot better.

Same for most people. We call it our family law. We just pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, have a bit of tantrum or a cry sometimes, and then get on with it. As time goes on, you are more capable of handling life than those that seem to have all the luck (they lie about how lucky they are anyway)

The Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust; bad things happen to both good and bad people. Life is like a roller coaster, you will always have ups and downs, just pray, read your Bible and cling to your faith. Everything will work out in the end.

My Friend I understand...But never lose hope. Because Christ said something very interesting..."In the world you will have tribulations; but be of good cheer, for I have conquored the world"
he also said that struggle is the narrow gate that leads to perfection and salvation, yet he is always there to suport and help us "Come to me all your bardained and heavy laden and I will give you comfort...Take on my yolk for my yolk is light and easy."
As Christians, we do not believe in bad luck...we believe in God who has full control of the universe, the God that does not allow for a single strand from your hair to fall without his permission. Do not lose faith, but let these tough times be an opportunity to raise your voice upto him, crying out for His name, and leaving matters in His hands in faith...and see How His name will be Glorified with you.
God bless you my friend, and rest assured, he will never leave you.

If God brings you to it, He can get you through it. He will not give you more than you can handle. The devil is trying to get you to fall away from the Lord. You can endure. When I go through storms, I start to think about the children in Africa starving to death, or the people who have no place to sleep tonight. I begin to see that my problems are really not that big. Cast your cares upon the Lord and leave them there. He will take care of you. The best way to forget about your problems are to start focusing on how you can be a blessing to someone else. And remember that Jesus knows what you are going through. He came from paridise to live and die for us. On the way He endured betrayal, rejection, hatred, etc. I'm sure that He can relate. Trust in Him and seek Him.

Well, I often find myself wondering how I have been so blessed, when I have made so many mistakes, and good people I know have their faith tested daily. You can handle anything that comes your way.Don't give up. I have seen it go like this for days and days and all of a sudden get worse. Good luck.

well if things didn't go bad in your life, how would you know when things were going good???????
and if you're having a bad time, it has nothing to with luck, it has to do with your life choices. Re-evaluate what you want from life and make a plan of how you're going to achieve it, including the negitive things may occur while trying to reach this goal, so you're more prepared.
