Looking for any information anyone can give me on the vasclip procedure and/or the IUD. We are looking for something long term but not perminant quite yet..... how bad does the IUD mess with moods and how effective is the vasclip? any information would be helpful. thank you!

my friend just got the iud and she said that u don't feel it at all , but u can keep it in there for 10 yrs , i got my tubes tied

I know nothing about a vasclip. Don't really like the sound of it. I do have an IUD for 2 years now and it doesn't affect me any differently than my regular period does. Same everything... I hear it is not painful to have inserted, I was asleep because of another procedure being done. Just slight cramping, I'm told, and no aftereffects. Very expensive, though, and insurance does not cover it. Smart move.

The vasclip needs to be considered permanent. It is possible that the clip will cause scar tissue that will block sperm and that is not good for what you have in mind.
The IUD might cause heavy periods, but many get pregnant within 3-6 months after removal.
What about the patch or the ring? They might be a good option.
After having my vasectomy and recovering from the procedure, their is no way I would consider a reversal. TOO much pain and too long a recovery.

you can also talk to a gyn/ob about birth control also can go to your local health department / family planning department

If you don't want kids,then don't have sex ! Sex was ment for reproduction. You are going to DIE from those foreign objects put in your body !
