the radio only picks up stations when i connect an antenna from a remote control car but when i conect it to the car antenna it doesnt pick up the stations that good

The car antenna has a short, break or is just plain not working anymore. Replace the antenna with an aftermarket antenna and be done!

it is my vehicle too yet we pay interest to hubby's well known stations ...you guessed communicate radio so I plug myself into my cd participant. LOL no i don't have an Ipod yet. sturdy success your dad is maximum likely as addicted to communicate radio as we are hooked the following.
