see your doctor, that's the best answer cause it can be anything....ear infection, teeth problems (like wisdom teeth coming out), allergies, throat infections, built up wax....
so see your doctor, they'll be able to diagnose it and prescribe something.
(there's also home remedies but I don't think they are very appropriate and can be more harmful than good if not done properly)
Also, ibuprofen like Motrin might help the pain until you get to the doctor.

A throbbing sharp pain can be a symptom of Otitis Media. Go see your doctor right away, as you will need antibiotics in order to cure it, and only a medical professional can accurately diagnose it. Go as soon as you can get an appointment.

Since we are not doctors and cannot see you or give you an exam over the internt pretty hard to tell why. Could be any number of reasons. Take some Tylenol. It could be anything from an ear infection, to ear wax build up to a tooth infection to a number of things. If it does not go away over night, go see your doctor.

Go to your doctor. I experienced something like that 6 or 7 yrs. ago when I was in 5th grade. Sounds like you may have an ear infection. When I went to my doc. she told me I had a bump on my ear drum which was causing an ear infection. So they best I can say is go get it checked out.

Have you gone swimming or something like that recently? It may be swimmer's ear. Ear drops really help for this. I had it a few weeks ago and the pain was just like that. I used "Swim-EAR" and it stopped the pain in literally 20 seconds.

Does it hurt when you try swallow? If so it's probably an ear infection. You need to go to the doctor, because, even though it doesnt seem very bad, it is. I mean, if it hurts that much doesnt it make sence to go to the doctor anyway?

Sounds like an ear infection and only perscribed antibiotics will help. If you don't get soon it may burst your ear drum. I had that happen....not fun!
