i have hair but people are always telling me to grow some hair what can i say to respond to that so i don't look like an idiot.

Why in the world do people say that?! I wouldn't say anything mean back to them. Don't be like them. You know what I mean? Just say " God loves me the way I am" . Hair does not make a person. You could shave it and you are still you. I've been going through major hair drama for almost two years and I've realized that no matter what my hair looks like all my true friends and family members that love me,including my husband does not care what my hair looks like. Even if you don't say anything to these people you don't look like an idiot, they do. Good luck and God Bless ^j^

I feel your pain. I have hair but it's really fine & super thin. I work with the public and people stick their feet in their mouths alot of the time. Most of them don't mean to be hurtful, but that doesn't make it any easier or less embarrasing. I just got really tired of knowing I was going to have the same issue day after day so following a time that I'd been away from work for a couple of weeks, I began wearing a short, sassy, natural looking (thinned out) wig to work.
Now instead of people saying things about my thin hair, they say things like, "something's different - did you get a new haircut?" (yes! and haircolor & hi-lights, too!) They want to know who cut it or what color I have on it, etc. When it gets awkward is when they like it enough that they really push for my stylists name & location! (Oh my!)
Wigs may not be your choice, but if so, Revlon has some really cute styles for super prices. Just keep in mind that all wigs need a pair of thinning shears taken to them to make them look more natural. Make sure you get someone who is familiar with handling wigs to do it for you!

You could just smile & sweetly say, "Yes, you're very smart! But you have no manners, and I'd appreciate it very much if you kept your idiotic opinions to yourself". Kill them with kindness & that will make it all the better. Don't lose your cool!

Tell them that they are incredibly rude. That you like your hair. Tell them if you didn't have manners you would have told them that their hair looks awful.
