The first thing I'd recommend is to relax and try not to be overly self conscious. There are several members of my family that will screw up their sentences halfway through, including me from time to time. I think it comes from thinking too fast for your mouth to keep up. I only mastered my problem by taking my time and formulating the whole sentence before I uttered the first word. My brain wants to get it out and move on before my mouth can properly enunciate all the words..Many thoughts come to me in a flash and I want to express them before I translate the raw thought into structured lanquage completely.
So, relax, take your time, and try not to worry about it - anxiety about it will probably only make it worse. But if you are doing it all the time and can't seem to break out of it even with greate effort, then it may be time to consult a doctor, who may recommend speech therapy or other counseling.

It sounds like you're just distracted. Maybe not by anything present or imminent, just something recently lodged in the back of your mind that causes you stress. Also, the anxiety you feel after garbling your speech only makes you more likely to have another tonguewreck-- it's a tidy little cycle. Just realize it's temporary, and try to resolve whatever's taking up so much of your brain's CPU. Best of luck.

something unsettling going on in your life? It is most likely a lack of focus on what you are talking about.. to many things on your mind.. when you start to talk think about what you are saying and about it only... that way everything will come out of your mouth in the correct manner. I have a problem of things coming out completely back wards.. Just to much going on in the brain at one time. you have to slow down and relax.. and just think about one thing at a time.. that way you will get more done and the words will all come out right..
slow down.. you will be fine..

It only takes a few seconds, Before you speak, Say what you want to say in your head and then try to determine how it will be perceived by the person or group you are speaking too.
Sometimes saying it to yourself first can save alot of embarrassing moments.

Because women talk SO MUCH that you need to rest your mouth muscles for a while, at least take a 10 min break from yapping every hour.
