My fridge is empty, and I'm feeling a bit peckish...how about you bring some of that grub over here and make us both a very early breakfast? :)

Oh, and savoury. Like a sarnie. Or a bowl of soup. Too much sugar before sleeping is a no-no.

I'd suggest something that is light with a drink that will not leave an annoying after-taste (soda, sunny d, milk). Try gushers, pretzels, popcorn, granola bars, vanilla flavored wafers (the rectangular ones), dry ramen noodles, spaghetti, fish, slices of meat (turkey and chicken are the best) rolled-up with mustard, or vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, not carrots). For the drink, try water, lemonade, OJ, grape juice, or anything that's fruity and low in sugar.

Avoid sugary snacks at bedtime. The snacks that tend to satisfy late night munchies are ones that crunch. Watch those calories, as they have nowhere to go while you sleep except to your middle. :)

If it's a snack, stick with fruit. Watermelon if you have it. You will thank yourself later.
