i would leave the diamonds for your new brother in law to get...the gift should be something your sister & soon to be husband can both enjoy....

I would think that if you are going to spend that kind of money you should make it a more special bracelet than that. Find her a nice Tiffany style charm bracelet and fill it with a few charms that would be meaningful to the two of you. Then enclose a note that you have left space for her and her new husband to fill with more memories. I think that would be more special to her.

Just to share this little bit of a special gift that I received from a cousin of mine on my wedding day. I was presented with it while I was getting dressed. It was a small locket engraved with my wedding date and inside was a picture of me and one of my soon to be hubby as children. She pinned it to the inside of my gown near my bust line (to be near my heart) and told me that when the day came I should wear it around my neck with our children's photos in it.

you could always do a bracelet that has diamonds and either her birth stone or a stone that matches her wedding colors. But I think if it comes from your heart she'll love it.

I would leave the buying of jewelry for your sis to your future bro in law. He might even be planning to get her one, and if you buy her one, it will kinda spoil his surprize, ya know?

Get them something they can use together.
