Sounds like Bible...
1 Corinthians 6:9 Don’t you know that evil people will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who are prostitutes or who commit homosexual acts. 10 Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom. 11 Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of that was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Since it is clear that some of the church at Corinth had a sordid past and yet were forgiven and made right with God, what makes you feel you are so superior?

Well, then you've made your choice and eventually you will have to face the consequences of your decision. Maybe not in this life, but the next one for sure.
The apostle Paul was a mass murderer. He repented and became the greatest of all apostles and helped millions. He dedicated his life to helping others after he realized the horrible things that he did were indeed henious.
You see that a lot with murderers, etc who repent. They are so sorroful for their past lives that they dedicate their new lives to serving others.
You should check out a tape by Tom Papania. He was a mafia boss and gave his life to Christ. He has since dedicated his life to helping children and speaking at prisons.
You can buy a recording from focus on the family.
The bible says that he who is forgiven of much is thankful for much. If you are forgiven for little, you are thankful for little. That means that the worst people in the world wind up being the best servants of God when they change.
And going to church doesn't get you into heaven. Serving God does. It's two completely different things. There are many people who go to church and live normal lives who will not get into heaven.

The question is not really about whether you go to church or not. It's about your relationship wtih God. If a mass murderer confesses his or her sins and puts away a life of willful disobedience to the law of God, then God will forgive the mass murder. And, yes, he or she by the grace of God will make into the Pearly Gates.
Will a goodly man who doesn't go to church be excluded from heaven simply because he did not go to church? I would say, no. But a Christian will try to live according to what the Bible says, and the Bible does exhort believers to worship together. Individual worship is good, but so is so-called corporate worship. So repenting and helping people is great, but if the person doing these things is unwilling to do ALL of what God says in the Bible, then you have to wonder about the depth of his or her committment...as well as his or her readiness for heaven.

The crux of the issue here is "If he repents". This is God's requirements which we have to go by. Who defines what a good and honest person is? By God's infinite perfect holy standard, who is truly the good and honest person? No one! Therefore it is only by grace through faith that one gets to heaven, whether mass murderer or good old honest person. Thus no one can boast of any merits, for heaven is a free gift, bought with an expensive price tag, the life of Jesus Christ.

Salvation has nothing to do with attending Church. Anyone who accepts Christ and repents of their sins will go to Heaven. It's not about sitting in Church. If you don't accept God and the person who died so we may go to Heaven, Jesus, then you won't make Heaven. How could God let people into Heaven that doesn't believe in him?

You make the VERY incorrect assumption that there is such a thing as a good and honest person.
Some people are better than others in our own eyes... but nobody is anywhere close to perfect. this is what God requires.
That's why we have to trust Jesus's death as payment for our sin. Through him we receive eternal life. it has absolutely nothing to do with how well we keep rules, becuase we've all tried that before, and we've all failed.
Good people never have gone to heaven, forgiven people do.

You don't have to go to church to be saved but....you will not grow and if you do not grow you eventually die. I once believed as you and I went down the tubes. Then I try'd doing it God's way and I now consider life successful. I looked back over my W2s and found that every time I am following God I find that my income for that time went up and the times I was away from Him they went down. Oh, I can hear the Christians already grumbling about the blab it and grab it doctrine. But I have experienced it for long enough (51yrs) to know that God blesses those that follow and trust Him.

It is written from God that we are to gather together on the First day of the week - there are 2 roads - 1 going to Heaven and 1 going to Hell - so what you have told me is that you have decided the other road? Here is something else you should know - Jesus will be the one to Judge all - it is not mine or your job to do His job:

The way to heaven is threw Jesus,
So long as you bellieve in him you shall not perish but have eternal life
Get it right man.. it has nothing to do if someone attends church or not.
Repenting your sins and believing in Jesus are the way to heaven

church does not get you into heaven.. a relationship with jesus christ will.....forgiveness is part of the process and occurs when we repent of our sins....we cannot be good according to our own standards... we have to be good according to God's standards.... there are terrorists now who think they are going to heaven because they think they are helping people.
if a person was really good all his life wouldn't he naturally want a postive realionship with God? If he rejects what God has, then why would he want heaven?
