im usually shy around girls and they always think that im a mean person just because i dont say that much to people i dont know, but its not like the girls have much to say either

It's pretty common for shy people to be misinterpreted. You probably have a good female friend that might be able to give you advice about how to appear more approachable. Obviously, we don't know you, and can't give advice on what you need to change. But do try to smile more. A shy smile is actually quite attractive to some of us!

Its depends on how old you are but its true about teenage girls they never have much to say but that will change once they get older. And for me I prefer the shy guys. They tend to be sweeter and Im a loud person myself so its balances it out. ANd try to find girls with similair intersts so you'll have something to talk about...

Quiet guys are OKAY, but most girls (including myself) like guys who can hold a conversation, not one that you have to force into talking. Plus, most guys are upfront with their feelings towards a girl and if you don't say anything, she won't think that you're interested ( another downfall of being quiet).

I am startin to go for the more quiet boys now. They tend to be a lot nicer in the end!!!!! You'll find a girl that will like you for who ya are, just give it time!!!!! : )

I know how you feel. I'm also what people refer to as "the quiet type". But some girls find it to be "mysterious", which can be a turn-on.
