I shudder to think of you at an outreach center filled with children.
I would ask all the Christians to stop what they are doing right now and say a prayer for those kids.
What you said about my children shows a seriously disturbed, dark heart......and you ignorantly made the mistake of thinking my oldest daughter was me in the pictures.....she is just 13, and there are no pictures of ME posted....Are you so inept that you can't even recognize a 13 year old child, yet you say you work with children ????
You crossed a line when you slandered my children that you can't cross back over. What kind of an 'adult' would do such a thing?
I could easily insult your three children, but I would never sink so low....because I have something you are lacking.....dignity.
Ultimately, you have to look in the mirror, and face the hypocrite who took a simple comment too far. You can blast people here, yet when someone dares challenge you, the ugly darkness comes out.....
No wonder your 360 has a post that says you generally don't like people...sad, very sad.
In regards to your question, another bad judgement call if you are letting children see this kind of posting. I would NEVER allow children, especially in a religious setting, to witness the type of hatred you provoke. I hope those children never have to see the black hearted comments you usually display here....you would no doubt be asked to leave.

I would never berate someone or call them names for not believing. At the same time I wouldn't want non believers to berate me either, which I've been getting plenty of on Yahoo answers. I will defend my own decision to be a Christian, and since it's too important, I am going to do everything I can to turn a non believer into a believer. I don't care about being politically correct.

I'm not sure what your question is but I'll give it a shot...
Maybe the 'Christians" that are attacking non-believers are a bit insecure in their own beliefs. I grew up in a Christian family - met most of my true friends at Church and youth groups, even did the whole Bible drill thing. I still could not tell you where to find a particular verse if someone asked me today - well, maybe John 3:16...
I think you should know your stuff inside and out if you are going to push your religion on someone. Speaking of pushing your religion - I think the televangelist that blatantly ask for money so you will be forgiven (Texas t.v. station), should be prohibited from ever being allowed on any station. How are non-believers going to know the true G*d? Pray for their salivation.
I fear G*d! He is the almighty!

I see alot of that too, and as a christian it really pisses me off! I don't see how some christians could be so dumb?! I mean, Hello? I would not want anything to do with them if i was constantly looked down upon by Christian people! And then the really sad part is that we all say we want people to know the Lord, but not all of us are willing to actually get out there and show some love! And some act one way in chuch and another outside of chuch! What the heck? That just is showing people how two faced some christians are, and turns them away. I honestly don't blame them!

"Attacking" is a harsh word. Judging and generalizing is not the answer either. Pray and don't sit and watch. Believers are in a spiritual battle/warfare for righteousness sake. Jesus called those
people in his day "Fools" and "whited sepulchers." I'm not justifying any immoral behavior but you must understand and research God's word for as righteous indignation. We must defend our faith. Christians are not suppose to be perfect nor sinless but we are humans with faults. Help us by praying and not give destructive criticism.
I've notice that you said that you volunteer for a christian based outreach but didn't say that you were a christian. What's that about?

We aren't called to be door mats
Besides there is a side of Jesus who got angry at the injustice done to Christianity... remember him driving out the money changers from the temple??? Anger isn't a sin... We have a right to defend the faith... otherwise the Atheists would over take the religious section...
Besides... Not all Christians are doing that... don't generalize... there are a hand full who are not pleasant who are Atheists in disguise making pretend they are Christians so that people will think exactly as you are thinking... It is the Atheists in this forum who are making it look bad for us... I don't even know why they are in the religious section but to persecute Christians...

Don't you think you are being a little unfair? I assume you have canvassed every Christian? I hardly think so. I agree that some Christians are guilty of it, but Jesus did call the religious leaders hypocrites because of their superficial obedience to the law. I say call sin what it is sin, if its lying, he is a liar, stealing he is a thief. Paul says in Galatans 5:13-15 to love each other. If Christians are in disobedience and you know then it is your duty to confront the sin and encourage repentence, Galatians 6:1,2.

Look how the world is turning.. never before have i seen the number of people attacking christians as well. and Christians are getting jumpy and getting defensive about it.
i nearly took a athiest friends head off the other day when he said that who thing about most of the wars weve fought is because of christianity.. when its the acts of evil men twisting Christianity to their own ends that have caused these conflicts, and not just christians but muslims and Jews as well.
I felt bad about it because im usually calm, but lately it seems i have to defend my choice of being a christian more and more and its getting tiring.
In view of these things.. we are all human. we make mistakes and we all sin. Thank God for giving us someone to take the burden away and forgive us.

Isn't it absolutely horrible?
Christians are the new persecuters.
I work with many Muslims and Jews and never never EVER have I heard them say anything negative about my culture or my beliefs. And yet each day I hear new derogatory comments made towards them.
Most Christians are just too ignorant...and we should be ashamed of ourselves.
