This isn't the arch of my foot exactly. It is across the top - along the bone from my big toe toward my leg. It comes and goes without making much sense (have tried to figure out if it is due to specific activity). Been this way for a few months. Could it be a problem with the arch of my foot?

WOW - didn't think about the knee possibility, but I have had knee issues for years (chondromalicia).

I had this for awhile, and found out there was a problem with my knee! It was causing my foot to compensate for the problem my knee was having.

It could be an issue with shoes you are wearing putting pressure on that part of your foot. Then again the problem might not be in your foot at all.

It could also be an issue caused by you walking incorrectly to compensate for a subtle knee problem or it might just be a pinched nerve. The nerves in our feet must travel all the way up our legs and spine to send the pain message to our brain. If this particular nerve is pinched anywhere along that route your brain will interpret it as a pain in the foot as that is the only signal this nerve carries. So it could be an issue in your knee or merely a subluxation in your lower spine. The latter can be easily corrected by a chiropractor or osteopath. I'd suggest visiting an osteopath as they might be able to check your knee as well.

I deliver my spouse foot cramps always. I determine she'll both begin stretching and understanding or if hold giving her the well ones the cramps will slash over the years. Sometimes I do not quit. She under no circumstances stops whilst she offers me a cramp.
