I am sure that we will. Some people say that animals have no souls and therefore can not go to heaven, but their is a very strong connection between people and their pets. From what I know of God, he is a kind and loving God, why would he want us to spend eternity with out our loved ones? So, I do believe that it is true, we will see our beloved pets again.

Yes I do. Please read te following....
The Rainbow Bridge
inspired by a Norse legend
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

You see? This is one of the things that make me say Christians aren't all bad. And make me spit. It's so sad I could cry. See Jesus rides a white horse so there will be puppies and kittens in heaven. And the heartless ones who say, to grieving children "Nope, Fluffy has no soul, get back to your Bible."
I was told both to pray to St. Francis (if he couldn't get Killer Kitten into heaven, no one could) and that cats didn't have souls so stop crying or I would get "something to cry about." Remember that one?
I would love to see Bum Kitty and Mandy and Merllin and the others again.
It would be pretty to think so yes.

No. I'm sorry to bust you're bubble, but "dog heaven" is something mom makes up to make you feel better when you are a kid. Dogs are great companions on earth but animals have no spirit. People go to heaven because we have a spirit, and only if we admit that we are sinners and believe that Jesus paid the price (spiritual death / hell) for our sins.

According to a video by Jack VanEmp and his studies (he's a Bible scholar of Bible scholars) Yes! God didn't create our animal pals just for this time on earth--they, like us, were created for eternity. Watch animal planet on tv. It's amazing the creations He came up with! God loves your precious pets and feels your love for them. What a great loving surprise He will have for us in Heaven when we hook up with all our animal friends again. Dog spelled backwards is God. I always believed there is something to that. Ha, Ha. Seriously! God bless.

Nope, Fido didn't get a soul, so when he's gone... he's gone.
Not that you won't miss Fido when he's gone, but God will be way better anyways.
As for the 'desires of the soul' thoughts, any joy or emotion Fido, Spot, or Lassie brought you will easily be compensated for by God. Besides, how often can we barely decide what our desire is for dinner? I'm thinking when it comes to my soul, I don't even have a handle on half of what I really need.

My Pastor says that because the Bible says that Jesus will come back riding a white horse-- then of course, we will see our pets in heaven.
He is an an animal lover and I'd like to think he's right because I am too.

Thou little is written.
First animals do not have a soul.
That said-
There are some animals I am sure for various reasons can be given a soul by God.
and can live forever with there master.
