I would feel smothered if my partner grew needy on me, for example, or if she started to invade my private time/space.
Each couple is different. Some gotta have a lot of time together, like RichandAmy from the hilarious Zits comic strip, which would be way too much for other couples. It's trial and error; you learn how much time spent together feels right, and no one should impose his/her criteria of togetherness or "relationship time" on the other. The minute that happens you know you're in the presence of a needy individual, so...run for your life!

i don't think a lot of time together is unhealthy, but I do beleive that you should both have your own individual things too do.. I think time together is Unhealthy when you bot are getting irritated by each other. You should pay attention to the signs.. On a day when you and your partner are together, you should ask them "when should I let you have your own space".. they will let you know and you will be able to give it to them in the future

If you or your partner feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable or like you just don't have enough time alone. If you are wishing you could be apart more, or are feeling 'smothered'

Give me some space, man. I can't breathe! Don't always ask where I'm going, who I'm going with, how long I'll be gone, etc. I had a life before I met you, I'll have a life when I'm with you and if you don't give me space, I'll be living my life without you!
Got it!
