Women are as shallow as men, they're just better at coming up with nice sounding excuses.
Society trend says it's expected for guys to drool over a nice pair of boobs; boys will be boys. But a girl that wants a man that's financially "nice" is somehow worse than the "nice rack" requirement from men. So they have to come up with nice sounding terms like "financially stable", "going places"... etc. But basically, they want a man that can buy them stuff.
It's just as bad/good/whatever as guys that want chicks with hot bodies. Same shallowness.

I don't think there even better at faking it. They're just shallow
about different things.
They want to (generally) appeal to men, so the spend huge

I don't know about being better at faking it, but women do tend to be better at covering it up.
