At 16 you could loose 200 lbs and have the skin shrink, at my age (44) I could not do that.

If weight is lost too quickly, the skin doesn't have a chance to adjust. If you lose weight at a reasonable rate of speed, your skin will adjust and you won't have all that flabby skin. Well, let me qualify that remark, unless you were super obese, then you will probably have excess skin no matter how slowly you lose weight.

honey, i am in my 50s, have just lost 23 pounds and my skin is tight. i am using an elimination diet, that means i stopped eating things that hurt me, like wheat, sugar and artificial sweeteners, and milk and meat full of hormones that make us fat like cows. (you can eat those things, but they're not food!) i eat mostly fruit, vegetables, nuts, beans, rice and good fats, which might sound boring (it's not) but it sure is working and i am never hungry. this is not losing weight, this is HEALING. i'm not saying that will work for you (though i hope it would), but it sure is working for me. my daughter (a very big girl) also needs to lose and it is working for her after only one week. if you have a library or bookstore available, you could try looking through ULTRAMETABOLISM by dr. mark hyman. i am not a doctor and i have to say THIS IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE but PLEASE don't give up! at 16 years old you can have a long and beautiful life ahead!

The more water you drink, the more elasticity your skin has. Just drink maybe a gallon of water a day. Some argue that that's too much, but it'll be fine if you don't keep drinking that much for too long.

I don't know, but I don't suggest trying it. Losing that much weight at a time is dangerous for your body and can give you eating disorders and such. If you just cut down on unhealthy foods and excercise more at a pace, then you can eventually cause your weight to lessen.

Now is the best time to do it. You skin has better elasticity and resilence. You need to exercise and tone, not just diet.
Join a gym or work out after school.
You go girl!!!

Yes, you can. You have youth on your side. Your skin is still firm and elastic, and it will bounce right back into shape. Good luck.
