first i have to say that quran was revealed to prophet mohammad who couldn`t read or write 1400 years a go in arabia.
this is one of the miracles of quran what do you say????


The word "land" appears 13 times in the Qur'an and the word "sea" 32 times, giving a total of 45 references. If we divide that number by that of the number of references to the land we arrive at the figure 28.888888888889%. The number of total references to land and sea, 45, divided by the number of references to the sea in the Qur'an, 32, is 71.111111111111%. Extraordinarily, these figures represent the exact proportions of land and sea on the Earth today

The statement of "seven heavens" is repeated seven times. "The creation of the heavens (khalq as-samawat)" is also repeated seven times.

"Day (yawm)" is repeated 365 times in singular form, while its plural and dual forms "days (ayyam and yawmayn)" together are repeated 30 times. The number of repetitions of the word "month" (shahar) is 12.

The number of repetitions of the words "plant" and "tree" is the same: 26

The word "payment or reward" is repeated 117 times, while the expression "forgiveness" (mughfirah), which is one of the basic morals of the Qur'an, is repeated exactly twice that amount, 234 times.

When we count the word "Say," we find it appears 332 times. We arrive at the same figure when we count the phrase "they said."

The number of times the words, "world" (dunya) and "hereafter" (akhira) are repeated is also the same: 115

The word "satan" (shaitan) is used in the Qur'an 88 times, as is the word "angels" (malaika).

And how does it vidicate the arguments in Quran about life and explain the innumerable contradictory interpretations people are capable of derriving from it?

Just because some numbers are consistent does not mean something is from God and must be blindly followed. You would make a stronger case for your religion, if you could on the basis of reason.

Even bible thumpers come up with mathematical proofs that it is from God so do other faiths have their own 'miracles'.

But all this does not seem to reduce human stupidity in any measure!

This is a very broad question. Atheism literally means 'without god' and since most human acts of devastation have been in the name of one god or another, this would suggest that they are less harmful than people with a religion. If you think about it in a more abstract way, atheism promotes free thinking and the choice to believe what you want without the hindrance of someone telling you what is correct without any evidence. In this way, many religions actually promote ignorance over knowledge. (The reasoning behind this lays with early society humans trying to form a manageable society that functions well together. Religion is a very effective way to do this, hence why there are so many similarities between them). So depending on what you mean by harm, in early human society atheism could have been more detrimental to the progression of the human race but in recent times (the last 150 years or so) religion is losing its place in modern society.

It is impressive. Even though some of the numbers make little sense (drop of sperm??). But it still could be the work of men. Rather obsessive compulsive men, I might add.

P.S. Explain to me the number 72. This is how many virgins jihadists get after completing their work. I have no problem with this. But I, as a woman, want to know if I would get 72 hot guys if I were to give my life for God... Islam just isn't fair to women.

This is a least proof that the quran is the word of Allah the Almighty who is the creator of this world and everything in this.
There are non-countable scientific evidences that proves quran's truth.
The only thing we muslims are missing is to adopt quran and its teaching in our practical life. Once we do this I am certainly sure that we will not have to convince others. Islam spreads by itself.
Every muslim should be a live example of what quran says.
I urge all muslims brothers and sisters to absorb quran in their lives.
May Allah the Almighty bless us all and give guidance to recite and understand quran.

Of course, the fact that Mo hammed didn't actually write the damned book doesn't occur to you at all, does it? Neither does the fact that one of the men(and i use that term lightly) who taught Mohammed's kids and wives to read and write was a man who had been a Catholic bishop who murdered his wife and other women because they refused to bow down to him and worship him as their lord and master? there have not always been the same number of days in a month and still aren't, or months in a year as there are today. There have been many different calendars before the one we currently use.
It doesn't prove or explain or tell anything. Its just someone trying to make connections...anyone make things fit the way they want it to.
