my mom is trying to get custody of me/bro/sis b/c step mom abuses us.gotten a lawyer who accidentally told the judge that us kids were going back to cali on fri. we r supposed 2 go back on wed.judge hasnt signed the temporary custody papers b/c she thinks she has enough time.no way to tell judge we r going home wed.cps wont take the case in cali until we r there.if we go back we will get in so much trouble.what can my mom do to keep us safe say the judge doesnt sign the papers in time???? help plz

they cant prosecute my step mom. judge will think my mom is trying to hurry her to sign the contract if she says something.so i cant really tell her or contact her. we just have a messed up attorney to answer the 1st 2 answers.

i am supposed to go home wed. not friday thats the prob. my lawer screwed up big time and the judge (because of the lawer) thinks she has all the time in the world to sign the papers. my q. is where CAN i hide or where CAN my mom put me in foster care in? she is at stake of going to jail...so... what do i do

Let's see if I understand this. You were supposed to go home on Wednesday, but the Judge thinks it's Friday so the Judge will not sign the papers transfering custody to your mother until Friday.
What is the problem? Are you afraid of spending the rest of the week with your step mom? Is there a fear of physical abuse? If that is the problem, then get a different lawyer and petition the judge on an emergency basis. If for some strange reason this is not possible, then I would hide out in a motel for the rest of the week until the judge signs the papers.

Well you need to go to family court on Monday and take care of it. Good luck cauz the court system is horrible, I think you should wait and have the judge sign the papers for temporary custody. I'm confused about you going home on Wednesday, I'm not sure where you are or what is going on but regardless, you need to talk to your mom and work this out.
