Okay I am a big golf fan, but have only ever played pitch and putt. So because the holes are only about 120 yards I don't have to swing the club that much. But know me, my brother and my brother in law are going to a proper golf course so I need some tips on Swinging the club properly. I have practiced but am not that great at swinging. Any tips on swinging?
Thanks.

Check out the video tips on Digital Golf. There is a series for beginners that can give you what you need.

The biggest key is to keep things simple. Find a club you like to hit, and keep hitting it. Don't worrry about mastering all 14 clubs. Just hit two or 3 clubs repeatedly. You are not going to be Tiger Woods, so just keep the ball in play.

I hope this will help! The link to the video is below.

well, you could do a lot worse than starting off with the pitch and putt format...that's how you learn how to keep your score low, so you've got a good head start on idiots like me who started swinging 3-irons and wondering why we wasted the time when we use them 4-5 times a round, max, and chipped and putted 10 times more. keep those clubs in your practice bag at all times.

as for swing, if you hit the wedge with a full swing, your swing with other irons should not be much different...the ball will just tavel lower and farther. don't swing any harder, and have fun.

Just hit the ball if it doesn't go where you want it to....kick it when they are not looking. Remember it is only a game so just go out and have fun.
