there is a wire to the back that keeps power even when the ignition is off. either this wire is loose or where it is fused is blown. Hook this wire back up or find the blown fuse or broke wire and this will no longer happen. Should be an easy fix. I have not seen any time but their is a chance that it could be in the radio.

is it the factory radio. check all the fuses. if it isn't the factory one has it always done this. if it has it might have been hooked up wrong. all radios have a wire for the memory that should be hooked up to a constant power when the key is off or on. if it isn't hooked up to a constant power source you will not retain the memory.

i have seen some idiots hook up stereos and hook the memory(yellow wire) up to the same place as the main power wire(red). If you can't find the wire they are talking about, make sure they aren't tied in together.

You have teh wrong power wire on it. Yellow most of the time is memory for the radio. Check your radio manual.

yellow wire needs to be put on a constant power and the red wire needs to be on a switched power and it will fix the problem!
