pink eye is mainly caused by touching contact with someone who has pink eye. it spreads when someone with pink eye rubs or itches their eyes, and then touches someone else who then rubs or scratches their eye, etc. the best way to help you NOT get pink eye, especially if you live with someone or work wit someone with pink eye is to make sure you wash your hands ALL THE TIME. if you dont have easy access to a bathroom/sink, carry some of that hand sanitizing gel with you and use that as often as you think about it. this will help you to make sure you dont contract the pink eye yourself. :)
