Though novel, all hairless breeds are VERY high-maintenance, and most must have lotion applied to their skin daily. They're much more prone to skin-disorders than haired breeds. Beware of sunburn!

Exposed skin needs special care to prevent skin problems and irritations. Use sunscreens. Many of these dogs are allergic to wool and lanolin. The teeth decay easily and many lose teeth as young adults, don't give them bones. Their forward pointing 'tusks' go first. The long haired variety (powder puffs) have better teeth.
Massage oil into the skin after a bath.
