okay,
my natural hair color is sort of light brown/dark blonde and this past winter i got light blonde highlights done.
And then i got some roots and they were really noticable.
i didn't want my hair to get re-highlighted so a few days ago i went to a salon and the lady that did my hair dyed it completley BROWN!!!
i know my hair was already brown in the first place but it was a darker shade of brown than before.
and she said that in a few weeks that it will slowly fade and not be as dark but my birthdays coming up in a few days and PLEASE try to give me some tips of how to get it to fade a little bit ,
fast!!!!

Wash it ALOT, or try going out in the sun.

just wash it alot more and spend some time in the sun. Anything you use to lighten your hair will damage and dry it out. If you are going to wash it more than usual you should also use a good hair mask to keep the shampoo from stripping all the good oils out of your hair. As for this time, getting your hair lighter is a waiting game. In the future do not be afraid to tell your hairdresser exactly what you want. And if you do not like how it looks you have the right to demand it be fixed and not leave until it is done right at no extra cost to you. The more you tell your hairdresser what you want the happier the both of you will be. Most people assume that the hairdresser is a mind reader and they're not.

You can wash and re wash use detergent and it will do it faster too but remember it will dry ur hair out and damage it. I would have it re done that is really the only way u will be happy with alot less damage and not to mention all the shampooing. Good Luck!

Get a really strong hair conditioner from a salon and then use that or i have used dish soap and then conditoner and repeated that a couple of times it works!

well your hair fades everytime you wash it...i usually die my hair a burgandy or purple or red color...and everytime i was my hair the water turns colors...when you wash your hair and your water is clear again it anit gonna fade any more...so i suggest wash your hair as much as possible before your birthday...if it anit light enough for you i would then go get more highlights done to tone it down.

You could try dying it a lighter shade or highlighting to brighten it up. Be careful and read directions.

um u can try a natural Dy from the store as long as Ur hair is one complete color it should work.. and come out correctly.. but that's all i can really say

pour hydrogen peroxide in your shampoo bottle mix it reall good and wash your hair, or you can wash your hair alot!!! I mean like 50 times in like an hour!

put lemon juice in your hair and sit in the sun. buy that blonde shampoo stuff and sit in the sun. otherwise just deal.

Do not re-dye your hair, your hair will be extremely dry and brittle. Try washing it with lemon juice.....
