Anymore details?

What did you do, and what are they doing?

Tell me where, I might come and help ^^

Always confront them, always be polite, know your facts & where to find the evidence. Over time you will get used to their responses and have a better well-thought arguement, as they tend to just reguritate the same Hubbard nonsense over and over again. I would also keep links to the worst stuff they have said, and can be used to show others the harassment. Here is one I have on my watch list:
http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AldsTvRa65ke97lVSpZRgMsgBgx.?qid=20060625061002AAKDm4y
(I changed my name, it was Liam)

I normally point out straight away that ad hominem, attacking the questioner rather than the question, is a logical fallacy and is not to be used in a debate. Second I point out that a world conspiracy to get rid of scientology is utterly ludricrous beyond belief, and critics are independant concerned people who see many problems (or outpoints) with the Church of Scientology. Then having done that we are free to progress and debate the question or topic at hand. Unfortunately scientologists don't tend to understand the first 2 points, and the discussion stops there, but I try.

One thing I have noticed, is that scientologists don't link to evidence and people notice this. So if you post evidence for your comments people are more likely to agree with you. That just gave me an idea. Talk to them about Xenu, OT III and the Fishman Affidavit, link to the court transcripts, and hubbard's own writing. If its a discussion group they might not stick around long for that.

Here is an extract in Hubbard's own handwriting confirmed by the Church's lawyers in court.
http://www.xenu.net/archive/OTIII-scholar/

Here is another court freed document which concerns the whole of OTIII which came up in court during the Fishman Affidavit, you can check out other OT levels here too
http://www.xs4all.nl/~kspaink/fishman/index2.html

Here is a summary written by an ex-member:
http://www.xenu.net/archive/OTIII-scholar/atack-ot3-summary.txt

Kyle is right though, unless you have like a gazillion dollars you are willing to spend on court trials, you won't win. They have too much money to spend on lawyers, and will drown you and your lawyer in garbage to make you drop any sort of legal action.

Theta I bet you thought this was me! LOL.

Foxtail typical, stalking and harassment is NEVER the right way to confront critisicm, you do it with open debate, logic & reasoning. Ad Hominem is not logical, and is listed as one of the prominent logical fallacies going. Foxtail, I think your statement is heinous.

Although obtaining a restraining order is a good idea, I would advise against it. With a love of the spotlight and tons of financial backing, the church of Scientology would no doubt make you pay dearly (through lawyers fees and the like) for a court issued restraining order.

Unless you have the time and money to fight with them in court, I would try to think of something else. I would like to suggest something for you...but nothing effective comes to mind. I'm sorry.

This is utter rubbish "Chris" and you know it !
Why are you spreading these false accusations about Scientologists on this forum?
Not that I particularly care, but you obviously feel you need to create and spread "upset" and "alarm" regarding Scientologists for SOME reason, other than the reason you are falsly claiming here.
Knock it off. Get a Life.

Attack Tom Cruise and John Travolta with a sword.

Or a restraining order is good too.

Confront them with the Bible in a loving way. Do this before confrontation - look at who they are and compare it to the Bible. If anything and I mean anything doesn't seem correct in accordance to the word then question those in the Scientology Community - Guaranteed you will make them run.

REMEMBER I said confrontation in a LOVING WAY! Now if they assault you - defend yourself.

Fanatics can't STAND it when someone disagrees with them. That's why there are so many religious wars. Notify Yahoo Answers. Call the cops. Good luck.

Give details, this actually sounds funny.

I wouldn't worry too much but might have a polite word with them while holding a pump action shotgun. Joking.

Is it really that bad though?

Take sanctuary in a real church, try a Methodist church and go talk to the priest there, he'll know exactly what to do.
