I said this in your other question. I will just paste my other answer.

I am very sad to say that I do not know how Israel can be stopped at this point. I think the only hope lies in the UN.

Bush is determined and we, the USA ppl, are powerless because he has complete control of all 3 branches of our government. The majority of ppl do not agree with what he is doing but we have no power until after the November election. I am sorry and I pray the best for you and your ppl.

I think that the American government is being hypocritical. Furthermore, I think that the average American is unaware of the actions by all parties in the Middle East, and mostly end up echoing the 30-second sound clips of their government.

1) Americans often repeat the statement that "Israel was the traditional homeland of the Jewish people and it was stolen from them". While this may be a true statement depending on your point of view, if you agree with this statement than logically you should agree that all Americans should be forced to live in 25 states and the American Indians should be given back the other 25 states because their land was stolen from them, too. Or maybe California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and parts of Colorado should be returned to the Mexicans because their land was stolen from them.

2) The American government advocated for fair and free elections and would support the winner. The winner of the fair and free elections was Hamas. Instead of supporting the government as they had promised, the Americans condoned Israel witholding millions of dollars rightfully owed to the new Hamas governemnt so they could build roads, schools, hospitals, businesses, policemen, firemen, and other infrastructure of a nation. If another country witheld millions of dollars from the United States so that they could not pay their citizens salaries, repair bridges, or provide roads to transport food to market, the United States would go to war, too.

3) Why does the United States tolerate Israel being a racist country that only allows Jewish people to live there? When South Africa denied basic civil rights to non-white citizens, there was world wide outrage and demand to stop state sanctioned racism. Instead, the United States supports Israel's state sponsored discrimination against its non-Jewish citizens.

Personally, I do not believe the claims by the American government that organizations such as Hamas, or nations such as Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia are trying to exterminate Israel. This statement is repeated again and again by American officials until they say it enough times that it is accepted as fact.

I believe that if the United States and all countries would end the unfair economic policies, stop military actions against citizens in other countries, and provide hope to Lebannon and the Palestinian people instead of humilation and despair, the fighting would stop and new nations would emerge.

"We" can't. And we can't because Hizbollah is calling the tune, and purposefully creating the circumstances that result in Lebanese casualties.
Hizbollah thoughtfully and very deliberately chooses to place their headquarters and missle launchers in densely populated areas... where non-combatants live. Children. Old folks. These terrorists know FULL WELL that Israel has to destroy these HQ's and missle launching sites, and know FULL WELL that in Israel doing what it must to protect it's own people, there will be co-lateral damage.... ie. dead Lebanese civilians.
If Hizbollah REALLY wanted to end civilian deaths in Lebanon, it would move their military sites AWAY from populated areas. But they know that these horrible civilian casualties and deaths will be shown in the media and the Israelis will be seen as evil killers of children.... serving the stated purpose of Hizbollah and their supporters in Iran to destabilize the area and feed the hatred they sow.
Short form: Hizbollah deliberately manipulates the media by ensuring that attacks on their strongholds will result in civilian deaths. All they would have to do is move away from civilian neighborhoods...

Maybe one day when Muslim moderates come out and DENOUNCE those bad apples in your religion will some sort of peaceful resolution eventually be achieved and that's a real long shot. And maybe, one day, when you guys worry less about STUPID CARTOONS DEPICTING YOUR PROPHET IN A FUNNY LIGHT WHICH FALLS UNDER FREEDOM OF SPEECH and taking to the street like idiots and burning buildings and such - and MORE about the children in your religion being brainwashed into thinking IT IS OK to BLOW YOURSELVES UP for martydrom - only then will your "woe be me's" be taken seriously.

Israel has a right to defend herself. Those cowards who kidnapped the soliders, well, why don't they come out and fight, FACE TO FACE, instead of hiding behind women, children, and civvie men? These terrorists know that Israel was not going to stand back and take it and so they hide among the rest of the population, bating the Israelis into bombing everything. COWARDS.

Frankly, I have NO sympathy for any religion, society, or culture that oppresses women since I am a woman myself, and I have less tolerance for those WHO DO NOT DENOUNCE the actions of the extremists in your religion. Various governments in your region must take action and begin weeding out and/or turning over these terrorists or else their citizens will be caught in the middle.

Arabs are really the ones to blame for the homeless Palestianians because THE ARABS refused to take back their people into the country back in the day when the Jews were given land in the region. Therefore, those people were without a home not because of the Israelis but because of their own kind.

And one final word - I could care less if Islam is a beautiful, misunderstood religion. However, I do care about getting my *** blown up on my own soil. The only horrible crimes being committed in Lebanon are being done by Hezbollah, Syria and Iran.

Hezbollah hides among children and women causing them to lose their civilian status. That's the real crime. It's the Muslim's fault for letting Hezbollah hide and shoot from the helpless population they, them and Hezbollah, have managed to turn into combatants. They, the Muslims, should police Hezbollah for doing that.

When civilians let Hezbollah hide among them they become collaborators. Hezbollah uses the pictures of dead children as propaganda. It won't work anymore. People are wise to your tactics. You spineless creeps.

Here is what we need to do. Call for a 24 hour cease fire. use US military to evacuate all non members of the hezbos. Anyone who wants to stay behind is either one of them or their supporters. After the civilians are removed let the two armies kill each other. What do I care if these two groups of people want to kill each other. We can then let them fight until one side is defeated.
