What do you have to do in the catholic religion before you get baptized?

im 19 years old, my boyfriend is Catholic and i was wondering how i would go about it. can anyone give me info and in details.

For adults, it's the RCIA program. For kids, the parents have to take a few classes, as do the godparents.
