Well actually a promise ring can mean lots of things... it just depends on who gives it to you ...there is a reason for them giving it to you. Example: A bf gives his gf a promise ring... It usually represents a serious relatonship. However, It could be a couple's promise to stay together, a promise to be faithful , a promise to listen to each other .... i mean it could be anything. Weird? yes, maybe but Meaningless? no

it's a commitment that a young adult makes to his or her parents to stay pure ( a virgin ) until he or she gets married. The ring is just a reminder of their commitment. Very cool!
