discharge?

Question

every once in a while I get discharge, it can be yellowish discharge or brownish, but it isn't all the time, but I want to know the difference with discharge that has a foul odor. The discharge that has a "Foul" odor, do you smell it without "smelling your panties"? Or you could smell it without even getting near your nose? I know this is silly, but I wanna know the difference. Does Discharge have any smell? or none at all? I get discharges but they don't smell.

and if there was a smell, does it have to be strong or not at all?

It's an infection!!!!!! If its clear its fine if it's other colors its bad!
