I agree. Most people in this section are hateful and violent and their questions are mainly to incite believers of other religions and make them feel badly. I hate such kinds of people. They are hypocrites of their own religion and beliefs.
I feel that if one can't be humane themselves then how do they expect others to behave humanely towards them?

I could go on and on lol...
I've answered so many religion questions already I just don't have the energy and if I start my argument it's only gonna come out hateful.
Religion is just a very touchy subject for some people.
In short, I'll just say that personally I think that the world would be a better place if people weren't blindly following a religion that has no proof, or purpose therefore.

Maybe its because people are constantly telling them that religion and religious people are negative, unintellectual, unlogical, repetitive, unbalanced and damaging to society.
put up with those kind of bogus, slanderous remarks some time and see if you want to be all roses.
Despite what you said, religious people are "normal" too, with real emotions like anger at being misrepresented.
Yes, there are some people who think "Seek after God!" is an answer to everything from "how do you find happiness?" to "whats an effective way of hair removal?" but when there are constant insults aimed at them, can you really blame them for defending their views with as much zeal as Atheists defend their lack of views with venom? aggressive questions will spawn aggressive answers.

This is the reasoning for this type of hatred towards athiests - Ready? Okay, in the Bible we christians are told and asked to share the word of God with everyone. (Paraphrased from Mark Chapter 16). By doing this in love (that is the ultimate code word IN LOVE) we have the opportunity to show those who do not believe that there is something greater than what the world provides.
The Bible is the word of God, but if it is not given to someone in a sweet form as in mothers milk then it can be sour to those who really want to know what is in this book we call the Bible. Just because some people say it is full of contradictions, but if you really study it get into it understand it then you as well as others will find it is what can fill your soul that missing piece in your heart that nothing of the world can fill. It is a puzzle - a very extensive puzzle that very few people will totally understand and live. It is by and far the toughest instruction book for living anyone will find.
Lastly, when a true christian man or woman comes up along side you they will let you know about their testimony and not pound you with, "You are a sinner and will be heading straight to hell."
Remember God loves YOU because HE made YOU perfectly in HIS own EYES. That is the truth!

Most of your posts are aggressive and insulting towards Christians. I do not believe most atheists are fair minded people because they spend their time attacking Christian beliefs and insulting Christians with negative characterizations about their intellectual capabilities under the guise of asking some sort of religious or philisophical question. Check your posts, looking back at all of them I see examples of what I've just said. You aren't interested in true debate. You are only interested in annoying Christians.

Well, if someone is not intelligent enough to be capable of logical reasoning, then he has to be aggressive to hide his lack of knowledge. Anger and bitterness often is a mask for stupidity (and I've seen stupid questions from atheists too).
Also keep in mind that not everyone he is an adult (No, really. Some people here appear to be as young as ten). Don't expect children to act like adults.

S. servicemen have been billetted for his or her R+R from Vietnam. I knew no longer something approximately Vietnam, yet I did savor going out with a lot of those astonishing US servicemen ! They used to ring us on the nurses' quarters and ask if every person might decide for to pass on a date....and that they continually have been given a woman or 3 to settle for. We had a brilliant time with them, and quite a few different of the ladies ended up marrying the guys. I nonetheless write to between the ladies who went over there upon getting married....and at Christmas each twelve months I nonetheless get a card from between the servicemen. Your question further back some very high quality memories !

I think that you have done a good job of also describing the people that you support. The hatred and anger also come from the side that you call normal, but in my world, that is abnormal.
I know, it it difficult to get more logical than "God doesn't exist", or the "Bible is fake".
Yes, this may seem harsh to a sensitive person, but I'm going to say it anyway; open your eyes and wake up to reality. There is antagonism from both sides.

please send me an example of a 'fair-minded balanced' atheist on this site...or do you mean 'all you Christians are so stupid-you can't even think, you just keep repeating stuff from the Bible, you're all ignorant and delusional, you all love george bush, you're all racists?' ...THAT kind of fair-minded balanced atheist...like the vast majority of postings by atheists on this site? did you get your definition of 'fair' and 'balanced' from fox news? even in your question, which i'm sure you perceive as being reasoned and rational, you simply CAN'T post your beliefs without attacking those who disagree with you-i would say that if a defense of your beliefs can't be accomplished without scorn, condescension, and ridicule, it must not be worth defending...and i'm sure this response will fall into your preconceived 'venomous' category-for some reason, the mere mention of Christ or mentioning the Bible on a 'religion and spirituality' site seems to drive 'balanced' atheists out of their 'fair-minds'...attack away-folks like you did far worse to Christ and his disciples...y'know, the old 'sticks and stones' thing...my main gripe with some of my fellow Christians is that they are either too timid in saying what they believe, or they forget that God gave us each two ears and two eyes and only one mouth-we need to listen and look more than we talk...but when we do, make it count!

I've noticed the "normal" secularists and especially the hard core aetheists are just as 'religious' in my defenition of the word and as bigotted as anyone else.
Logical debate, intellectual reasoning, and orginal thought are just as condemned or supported by religion as aetheism or any other philosophy or materialistic creed. For example, those who support fetus stem cell research hide the fact that NO evidence of ANYTHING has ever come of it, while other stem cell research has led to dozens of miracle cures. They use dislogic, blind faith, and anything possible to get people to support their position.
And aethists HAVE to get people to agree with them, that's why they demand evolution be the only thing taught in the classroom, as fact, even though there is no proof. They have to get people to agree to vindicate their enormous leap of faith: that life sponaneously happened by a chance of something like 1x10^(60 zeros). Few have as much faith as an aethiest.

It is on Both sides..........some those who don't believe are just as rude as some of those who do believe.......This is an ongoing thing that I have been watching and been posting questions about for about a couple of weeks now and can't seem to get a straight answer on it...........The believers would say I'm too soft and the Non-Believers would say I'm bashing...........sometimes these questions are taken out of context and some just go off on them..............Don't know if it will change though
