If you are craving pasta, you are probably cutting out more carbs than your body wants you to (e.g., Atkins diets). Eat a serving of it with some meat free red sauce and you have a healthy low fat meal. Just avoid cream sauces! They make whole wheat pastas, but I don't think they are especially yummy.

Whole wheat pasta is much better for you - that way the carbs you're eating are actually doing something good for your body.

Besides whole wheat pasta, you might try spinach pasta or corn pasta. Spinach pasta is usually whole wheat with spinach in it. Corn is good if you have wheat sensitivity.

Hi! I'm not sure what part of the world you're in, but I buy Barilla Plus. It has more protein in one serving than a chicken breast and it's delicious. We are very health conscious and my husband is a body builder, but we are also Italian and it really satisfies our family. Here's the link to their website. http://www.barillaus.com/PLUS_information.aspx

Yup, whole wheat is best but more importantly is what you put on or with it.
