seem a lil too interested in meeting this person... where did you "find" it? in their wallet? lol but, by law, if you drop it in the mailbox, it will mail for free back to its owner.
or, i suppose if you really wanna be a stalker, you can call information, give the name and address and ask for the number. if it's restricted, tell the operator "look- its my cousin and i'm in town from ---insert far away place here-- and i lost the paper with his/her phone number and directions, and i'm super lost!!!" if anything, they'll connect you w/o giving the number, and you can talk to this person.
be prepared, though, b/c, if some dude called my house after "finding" my license, i'd be a tad freaked...

By law, you can drop it in the mail and it will go, for free, to the address on the drivers' license.

There should be an address on the card. Just spring for a stamp and send it back to the person.

your best bet is to put it in the mail box. it is a goverment office and they will return it to the rightful owner
