I have this song I just HAVE to have... but.... it is not produces w/out the vocals... what is the most effective and least expensive way to do that...I need a minimum quality so that I could use it at a karaoke bar...is there a web-site that will remove the vocals off a song FOR you, if you send your cd to them... or if you tell them the name of the song, they can custom do it? I am in the Orange County, CA area... if anyone has access to one of those machines that removes vocals, I would pay to have some vocals removed custom... any help here?

what is the song and who is it by - i can probably get it for you.

to expand on the problem, karaoke versions are not actually the music from the song(s) you here. if they simply stripped the vocals from the song you want, they (or you) would still have to pay royalties because it is a public performance of the original music.

what happens is that the music from a song is recreated as accurately as possible using musicians in a studio, and that music can then be placed on a karaoke cd for sale.
