I want to start a charity club but I don't know where to start....?

Question

I want to make a charity club for poor people in my community, but how do I know where to give my donations to? And how to I ask people to join? And what should I do to earn money for these donations? Please help me~~

Thanks for the great advice, Veevee. But, you didn't really answer my question in the way I really wanted you to. By saying, "I want to start....where to start?" I mean not a literal "place" but a stage... as in time or step. Not to criticize you or anything, but for the future answerers. Thank you for your time, though.

It sounds like you're wanting to start a non-profit.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* The Nonprofit Handbook: Everything You Need to Know to Start and Run Your Nonprofit Organization by Gary M. Grobman
