What do you do if a woman threatens suicide when you try to break up with her?

I don't think she could be serious, but I wouldn't want her to do that to herself. I also wonder if a lawyer could sue me if she went through with it.

It is way over the line to tell an ex that only he can keep you alive, and it's not very romantic!

She could do it though. Some people do when something goes wrong for them, and they're not just saying it. Of course it's not what you want for her, but it's you she's angry at for breaking up with her, and you can't help her properly.

I reckon you would feel better about it if you contacted some of her friends or family and tell them she is threatening suicide, they need to get her some help in coping with life better.

The more people who know, the better, it takes that pressure off you. It's not fair to you to have to feel it's up to you, and she will see that if she gets help. She can't get over you if you are always there trying to help, it's not good for her & will only upset her.

1- that would be a VERY good example of y u were breaking up.
2- no, u can't be sued for breaking up w/ some1. she should see a counsellor or therapist if she's threatening this kind of action.

Try to avice her dont make a stupid action, just say that you regrets what just you said when you hear that song. That song remind us when we are deeply in love.
