He did injure himself and it resulted in him not being able to walk for a while. He's walking now. But continues to have dreams in which he might fall or hit his head before he wakes up.

Bad memories are the cause. He's reliving it in his dreams...probably trying to figure out how to do the same activity without getting hurt this time.

You are making the assumption that his dreams are violent. In fact, it may be only his sleep which is violent. Perhaps with his not having been able to walk he is hunting and galavanting through the dream world. You do not mention the nature of injury but that may be the cause too. Did he recieve treatment? Somehow you need to make him secure so he does not further injure himself. Good luck

I don't know what type of injury your cat had, he /she sounds very trumatized. My cat went to be neutured, He was traumatized by it. he had bad dreams, and would hide from our other house cats. He is fine now after about a month.. Is anyone terrorrizing your pet?. Is he insecure, for any reason?..Are you truly a cat person?.. Give your cat lots of TLC...Have patience with him, let the cat know he is special to you..SunFlwr
