i like this guy, but he's really shy, and so am i....i want to tell him, but dont know how, i DONT want to tell him straight up...but i want to tell him in another way, any suggestions?

Tell him that you like him as a person. Tell him how nice/funny/caring/etc he is. He'll appreciatte it, and maybe when he knows that you think he's a nice guy, he'll open up and also give you some compliments. You could also tell him that you look for qualities like him in a boyfriend, or someone to date. That is a good way to hint that he's the type of guy you look for, without saying straight up "I'm in love with you".
