For a quick pick me up to boring Ramens, stir a spoonful of peanut butter into the beef ramens and you get Thai noodles.
But for other cheap and yummy meals, make a double batch of meatloaf. Put half in the loaf pan, but make the rest into hamburger patties and freeze them til you need them. Then all you have to do is drop them in a pan with a little water, cover and steam them...then brown them a little with some ketchup to get that cool crust.
Make up a chicken, but get a bunch of meals out of it. The first day is roasted chicken. Then toss that carcass into a pot of water with bouillon cubes, chopped carrots, potatoes or pasta and make a huge pot of chicken soup. Then take any left over chicken and bake it into a big pot pie.
Turn your pasta into Tuna Noodle casserole with a can of cream soup and some stale potato chips on the top.

Buy a jar of spaghetti sauce, can of mushrooms, pound of ground beef. Throw them together with some cooked pasta and you have a hearty spaghetti dish.
Also get a bag of salad shrimp, (frozen section only a few dollars), and a jar of alfredo sauce. Heat it up and serve over angel hair pasta...gooood stuff.
Breakfast meals are usually the easiest to prepare and still really cheap too. If you're a breakfast person (and I am), then who says you hafta eat breakfast in the morning? Pancake mix is cheap and easy to prepare. Along with canned biscuits, eggs, bacon, toast, grits....you can vary a lot. I eat scrambled egg sandwiches. That's a southern thing I think. Omelettes are easy to make too, and really good. Just let the egg cook....throw the meat and cheese in it and whatever veggie you like and fold it over on itself.
Breakfast pork chops are usually really cheap. Dip them in flour, then egg (uncooked and scrambled), then in the flour again, and fry it with a little oil in the pan. No, it's not healthy...it's pork and it's fried. But it's reallllyy good.

Do This:
Instead of Ramen noodles, use a cup of macaroni. Boil it for like 10 minutes. Put it in a oven-safe bowl. Dump a can of condensed mushroom soup and a bag of shreaded cheese in it (2 cups). Mix it up and bake it at 350 for 45 minutes.
Yum yum now you are eating - and you will have yummie leftovers too.

I make a good one with chicken the tenders work best. Marinate them over night in ranch dressing. dip them in bread crumbs and fry them. It's so tender and the flavor is awesome.
For pasta try adding green onion dip to it. my hubby fell in love with it.
a good one with hamberger (i just made it up) fry your hamberger, drain it make some rice, mix it together add either canned tomatoes or spaghetti sauce, onions, garlic, italian seasoning and oregano and top with shredded cheese. I microwaved it for 10 minutes to make sure cheese was melted. Hubby had to add hot sauce he loves everything hot lol.

i attempted turning out to be vegetarian a pair of cases now and characteristic finally resigned myself to being a "flexitarian" - as in, I merely shrink the quantity of meat I consume. keep in mind that as a vegetarian you will would desire to discover substitute components of protein with a view to consume healthful - so think of lentils, beans, and peanut butter! in case you at the instant are not obtainable interior the kitchen then I advise you merely top off on "pretend meat" (many times modern-day on your deli or veggie branch). this way you may shop ingesting your many times occurring ingredients and don't would desire to do something yet replace the pretend meat for the genuine stuff. the only draw back to that's that wannabe meats tend to be costly. otherwise purchase lots of beans and lentils. you may whip up bean salads (my fave is a chickpea salad with random vegetables on appropriate) or toss mutually a lentil soup. additionally purchase cheeses - you're able to make sandwiches, placed it on salads, etc. in case you're severe approximately this vegetarian ingredient, attempt turning out to be a member of a vegetarian cooking direction. you will advance interior the kitchen and study some unique recipes you're able to in all probability on no account heard of till now! (e.g. I took an Indian vegetarian cooking classification - it became informative and an mind-blowing form of relaxing.)
