15 is getting up there...he/she might not be able to hold it as long anymore. I would have him/her vet checked (when they are geriatric at least twice per year).

It could be a UTI, diabetes, incontinence, or cognitive dysfunction...just to name a few. In the meantime, I would treat him or her like a puppy, and get jim/her outside as often as possible. See what your vet thinks! Good luck!:)

try some of those potty training sheets you can get from pet stores. They are supposed to attract the dog to the spot to pee on. But since your dog is 15, be prepared as this is a sign that the end is near. I live with a lady who has a 16 yr. old dog in the same position, just started pooping in the house, and vet told her the dog is probably starting to let go...so yeah...

You might want to take the dog to the vet and get a complete blood workup just to see what is going on. There may be some kidney issues going on that you are just starting to see.

15 is a wonderful age. I have had dogs live to 17 and 18 years of age.

15 years in a dog is like 80 for you. No suggestions.

Older dogs often don't have as much muscle control as they did when they were younger. There are pills your vet can give you for your dog to control the incontinence problem.

Poor old buddy cut him a break, show him a lot of love he's just getting old. Enjoy him, at fifteen he won't be around forever. And don't you dare throw him out of the house!

Go to a Petsmart or Petco and there is a part where they have diapers for dogs.

It's possible he's developed a bladder problem, you should take him with the vet ASAP. This problem is common with age.
