This my favourite way of frying eggs.
I have worked as a lunch-chef in a restaurant for over a year so i know how to frie an egg like perfect.
Standard recipe is to use three eggs.
Make a pan hot an put some oil in it. No butter because it burns faster and oil gets a higher temperature.
I like it best with some bacon.
First put the bacon in and emidiately after that the eggs. Or dont use bacon, whatever you like.
When the eggwhite gets hard on the top of the mass, put your fire down low, and leave it like that untill the eggyellow gets hard on the edges. For the best result the eggyellow needs to be still soft in the middle.
If you want some cheese on your eggs put the cheese on your eggs right after you put the eggs in so it can melt good.
To make sure your eggs dont stick, shake your pan back and forth, but not too early. Once it is loose make the eggs dance in the pan so they can frie equally all around.
And of course dont forget to add some salt&pepper!

Always use eggs that are as fresh as you can get them. The older the egg, the less likely they are to keep their shape, which makes them runny and they overcook. Use a pan with a surface that conducts heat evenly, with a medium heat setting. Spray it liberally with cooking spray and crack the eggs onto it directly (or into a cup and then straight onto the griddle). Don't let them sit out.

Once they start to go white use a spatula to cut grooves into the white, so the uncooked parts can drain down onto the skillet and cook. That way, you won't wind up with icky clear gunk on the surface of the eggs when you're ready to serve them.

Keep a careful eye on them and don't let the bottoms burn. If you don't like them sunny side up, then I'm afraid I have no hints for you on how to flip them, since that's how I take mine.

The way cook a fried egg is heat pan to med-high and after you put the egg in the pan add a tablespoon of water and cover with lid check eggs in a couple of minutes its done when the white is solid its dine and inside should be runny.

Cook them on medium heat, when the bottom is white, flip the egg carefully and turn the burner off. If you cooked it long enough on the other side to begin with, the heat from the pan should be enough to finish cooking it. Works for me every time!! Good luck!

After I make sure that the bottom is "set", I put some water (just about a tsp.) into the pan, then I cover it and let it steam for about 30 sec. (or until the yolk "hazes" over). If you're really good, you can try your hand at flipping the egg over so that it can cook on the other side.

Key is some butter in the skillet. Then when it melts from medium high heat drop the egg in. Put some cheese on top when the cheese is melted they are done. They wont be all firm but they will be cooked.

Don't flip.

use a cast iron pan put it on your stove on high heat what till it starts to smoke poor in some oil swirl the oil around the pan poor out left over oil let pan cool down on low heat aid some butter fry eggs on low heat till done

Medium - not high - heat! I use olive oil, but you can use butter or margerine. Heat pan first, then gently break egg into pan. Cook until you're satisfied! Enjoy!

Fluffing and if youre making them scrambled make them with butter instead of oil and add milk before frying.

If you're not good @ flipping to cook opposite side, cover them and cook on low until they looked cooked.....yellow gets a hazy look on top........
