Hyperbaric as in a hyperbaric chamber. Since this is about plants then I would assume it would have increased air pressure consisting mainly of carbon dioxide.

I know that they have done studies with plants where they add more Co2 in pressurized situations and the plants seemed to thrive in that environment.

Most roses are grown in green houses with a increased amount of carbon dioxide. This makes them grow better.
