I haven't seen that myself because I know how to open a coke bottle, but it's probably for those idiots who blow dry their hair while taking a bath.

Using your foot will impart a cheesy smell that most find offensive, thereby detering you from continued purchassing of the product...that and they don't want you to swallow the lid...
