No one walks on water. It is physically impossible.

Jesus was a magician. Notice that storms are mentioned in this story. What wasnt mentioned was the thin layer of ice that occasionally covers portions of the Dead Sea (where this story supposedly took place) Jesus walked on ice.....nothing Godly about it.

Peter, who said, "Lord bid me come to you so I may walk on the water with you." The Lord told Peter to come on, and Peter was able to walk on the water as long as he kept his eye on the Lord, but when he looked away for a moment, and lost his focus, he began to sink, and Jesus had to help him back to the boat. That is why we are told to focus and not take our eyes off our goal, which to means to me, don't take your thoughts or eyes off the Lord. God bless.

Actually the accurate answer is that Peter started to walk on water until he took his eyes off of Jesus and then he began to panic and sink into the sea.

hmmm, kind of like our lives. When we take our eyes off of Jesus, that when our lives start sink and we get into trouble.

The message: Keep your eyes on Jesus!

Nobody. Peter tried and couldn't. But the theme is what?

Peter tried. That is the concept. He was told to do something and tried. He lost faith.
