There are too many people who have to jump through all of the hoops to let someone who came here illegally to get a free pass. Because in the end those hoops that are there, are there for a reason, the physicals, the background checks, because frankly, those hoops, let us know who they are and whether they will be beneficial to us as a society. This may offend some people but yes then as country we can cash in on those who are already working or it can go the other way where they decide to spend the next 20 years on welfare. You really don't know.

I would laugh, I would laugh at the complete stupidity of doing the same thing we did 20 years ago, which was also a complete failure.
Honestly, I don't care if they get citizenship or not, my issue is not with illegal aliens, work and/or citizenship. It is about border security.
As long as we completely secured the borders, and the trade off was citizenship to all illegals, I could live with that.
Otherwise, there will be political hell to pay.

i personally think it would be good because it is a rich state and many "illegal" people are just looking to make a better life for themselves as well as their families yes there are the odd scroungers but that happens in every country. These so called "illegals" are people with skills and can contribute to the welfare of this country if given the opportunity to do so.

i don't care, if they'be been here long enough, if they're here to work, and if they learn a lil bit of US history, it's cool. Let them have a chance to take a test to earn citizenship and have equal rights as anybody else.

I would vote every person in office that approved it out. There are way too many people that want to come here legally to have people that cut in line get a free ticket.

actually this has happened already.
when the first Europeans came over they did so "illegaly" didn't ask, just came over caused massive genocide and then became citizens. So it can happen again, hopefully without the genocide
