My sons father left 6 years ago. I know he is in Florida. HE has a common name David Smith. How do you find someone with such a common name? I do not have social security number? Any ideas?

I found this on the court page:
What are the address, telephone number and hours of operation?

Child Support Enforcement Division
100 South Biscayne Blvd, Suite 3100
Miami, Florida 33131
(305) 530-2600

The hours of operation are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Can the Child Support Enforcement Division help locate the non-custodial parent?

YES. They must know where to find the parent responsible for support. If this is not known, the Child Support Enforcement Division will search for him or her through a variety of local, state, and federal location resources. It is very important for you to provide any information about the non-custodial parent so that he or she can be located.

Good luck. My mother's maiden name was Smith. I have 6 cousins and one uncle named David Smith. And 2 cousins named John David Smith. A name that is way too common.

I searched 4 a person once on the internet and all I had was a name, and I found them. I went 2 search and put in find a person, it connected me 2 a variety of sites that I could log on to, and ond of them just for choosing them gave your 1st search 4 free. I'm sorry I really don't know the sites name B cause it was a while ago, but if U do that you will get connected 2 a couple of things. I think it was findafriend.com., I think.

any information on his parents?

if you are trying to get a hold of him for child support, Child Services will hunt him down for you. All you really need is his birthdate, last known employment, full name. and last known residential address.

also, check your son's birth certificate. the SSN should be on there. I found my dad with it. and my kids' dad has his SSN on their certificate.

Good Luck!
