I have read the bible. And I continue to study the bible out of obedience to God. I love hearing the Word of God preached. Because faith comes by hearing, and hearing a Word about Christ / God.
I also pray the promises in the bible out loud & there is so much victory in that. Submit unto God, resist Satan & Satan flees.
I also have the Holy Spirit of Truth. So I can discern if someone is telling me something that is contrare to my God's Word.

It is amazing to me how many questions are posted attacking Christians. We don't see people attacking the Muslim faith, Hindu, Buddhists, etc.
I personally believe it is because Satan is urging people to attack Christians because Satan knows the truth.
However, the fact is that most Christians (non-Catholic ones, that is) are actively involved in Bible study. It is an important part of the Christian faith. Reading the Bible every day is something that Christian leaders encourage followers to do.

To be a Christian means to follow Christ. Christ spent his life helping the sick, helping the poor, the things you do to my brother you do to me. Teaching people that if we help one another the world will be come a better place. This message has gotten scrambled like eggs in the last 2K years. We don't want to walk the walk, just talk the talk. Read the sermon on the mount. I have never heard a born again christian quote any thing from it.

We actually study the Bible, a practice which would not do you any harm, then maybe you would know something of what you are talking about. I suspect though, unless it was in comic book style, you wouldn't be able to understand it.

We are studying the Bible together in a group. Discussing it and try to apply it in our life.
We go to a church and listen to the teaching of the Bible.
I personally have a quiet time to read portion of the Bible and pray. Occassionally, I discuss portion of the Bible with my family.

Depends. It is my understanding - through an acquaintance that is a former Catholic, that Catholics are discouraged from Bible Study.
Personally, I had probably read most of the Bible, but when I read it through - I had alot more understanding - particularly in Revelations.

I read and study not only the Bible but history and the writings in other religions as well, then come to my own conclusions. That is probably why my beliefs don't neatly pigeon hole into any one "named" religion.

Most of the True Christian Faith do indeed study on their own. We have bible teachers, but that dose not exempt us from God's instruction to do our own study. God wants us to have our own knowledge and not take any man's word for it. It is ultimatly between God and the individual.

Some study. Some just blindly follow the leader. Some do both.
