All you need to do is squeeze lemon's in your hair, then go out side for a few minutes, it might be stickie and yucky but it works then quickly wash your hair out but don't use any other shammpo!
later at night wash your hair with shammpo:) any questions ask?

If you have never done it, why are you telling people? This is a place to find the answers, not to tell stupid facts or whatever.

You can also use lemon juice or Sun-In which is pretty inexpensive. It will just lighten it a little though and you have to stay in the sun for at least an hour. Be very careful if your hair tends to have any redish tints, it will tend to turn orange but then the hair color and highlights you but at the store will do the same. Still best to let a professional do it. I have screwed my hair up before with home remedies.

Or you can put bleach in your ahir let it stay for 5 hours and then wash out. Your idea is so cool anyway!

it works but sometimes it doesn't work well with your hair color and it comes out a funky different color than what you wanted. I have tried it that is how i know

Mash up some boiled beets and put it on your hair if you want red.
