I heard that women are put on a pedestal in that religion (look up to with great respects). Is that true?

Why do Hazbolleh hide behind helpless women and children? Why don't they come out and fight like men?
Is this the same reason some Muslim men feel the need to cut away a woman's clitoris, so that they cannot enjoy sex? Do they really think they are such lousy lovers they can't keep their wives at home without mutilating them?
Is it because they know they are not really men at all, but cowards?
