Too much of anything is bad, with the fruits you could OD on certain vitamins (esp if you're taking vitamins or vit supplements). VIT C is the easiest to OD on. As for the juices, they're loaded with sugar which has 4 calories per gram. And there's 5 grams in a teaspoon, so 1 teaspoon of sugar has 20 calories. So yes, it's true.
