What vitamins make your hair shiny?

I am just wondering if there are any vitamins or minerals to make your hair shinier.

There is a certain type of protein gel that I have heard of that is supposed to work wonders for your hair. I've forgotten what it is called, but you should ask a couple of guys you know, they may remember.

I don't know if there are any specific vitamins that will do the trick, but it does help to eat healthy and drink plenty of water.
