To lose fat you will have to do some kind of exercise for 30 minutes minimum. Treadmill, stationary bike, aerobics, kickboxing, tae bo, fast walking outside, etc. Doing some kind of working out like this causes your body to burn fat, so the more and longer you move and sweat, the more you'll burn, make sense? You will want to do some crunches as well, the exercises mentioned above will burn fat off, the crunches or Pilates, will strengthen the muscles underneath, so you'll need both.
As far as diet goes, eat a good breakfast to give yourself a good start, eat a good lunch, and a light dinner. Your biggest meals will be during the day, and then the lightest ones at night. You want to eat a bigger breakfast and lunch, with snacks in between (healthy) during the day so you can burn it off, at night when you slow down, you'll want to eat the less food.
Consider this, limit these foods to once a week or so: cheeses, sugary treats, sodas, fried foods, fast foods, greasy foods. Limit these foods to once or twice a week, pick the days that you'll eat them, the rest of the time be strict with yourself. Subway is always a good place to eat, choose chicken sandwiches instead of burgers, big salads, tuna sandwiches, low fat mayo etc. Hope this helps some......

Well I think sit ups would like buff up your belly fats into abs.
Of course the normal don't eat fast food and stuff. But remember you still gotta eat moderately cause you need energy. Also try building up more muscle for better metabolism, don't eat any of those body building pills very dangerous.
As heard in wikipedia muscles burn fat faster.
You can always look it up in www.wikipedia.org search for diet or excercise.

Yes I can help you. I lost 45 pounds in about six months.
It was my first diet ever. I drove a truck long haul for four
years and that's how I got over weight. Losing the weight
was simple. I didn't follow any diet plans or take any pills, etc.
I ate less. I ate smaller portions. i walked. That's my secret to success. I also ate whole wheat food since it takes longer to digest. Those are a few things off the top of my head.
Email me if you are looking for more support.

Sure. Several things I've tried in the past that have worked have been:
1) going vegetarian (at least for a little while). Cut out meats, sweets, and treats for about a month. That should get you started.
2) crunches! Lay on the floor with one ankle crossing the opposite knee. Put hands behind head and raise opposite elbow to knee. Do as many repetitions as you can. Switch and do the same the opposite way, same amount. Then put foot down and either have both feet flat on floor (or for more toning, raise both feet off floor) and raise both elbows to both knees for same amount. Then you can alternate, doing a bicycle motion with your legs, left elbow to right knee, then right elbow to left knee... for as many repetitions as you can do. Do this every day and do it until it hurts. You should see a difference quickly.
3) ab roller - these are fairly cheap at Wal-Mart. It may be called something else, but they are all the same. It is a wheel that will let you roll yourself from a sitting position on your knees, down to a lying position (almost) on the floor. Warning! This is very painful on your abs, but it works! Do as many as you can. And I would advise that you do it on your knees. I've seen people go straight from a standing position, staying on their feet and using this tool, but it is much more painful that way. Of course, it will do a lot more good. But, I would suggest starting out the girl-way... on your knees. You can progess to your feet after you get used to it.
4) ab lounge and total gym are also very good, but both are more expensive. These both come with videos to guide you through the exercises and work very well. I noticed a difference on ab lounge after about a week and noticed a difference on total gym after 3 days.
Good Luck!!! :-)
